COOKED MODELLING DOUGH RECIPE

Ingredients:

Method:

• 4 cups flour

• 2 cups salt

• 2 cups water

1. Mix all the ingredients together in a large bowl.

2. If the mixture is too sticky, knead with a little flour until it is more workable.

3. Use mixture and cookie cutters to make your wonderful creations.

4. Bake at 350 degrees for 1 to 2 hours or until they are slightly browning and hard.

5. Let cool.

6. Paint as desired and finish with varnish or sealer to give it a shine.

COOKED SALT DOUGH RECIPE

Ingredients:

Method:

• 2 cups plain flour

• 1 cup salt

• 2 tablespoon cooking oil

• 2 cups water

• 4 teaspoons cream of tartar

• Food colouring (optional)

1. Mix all the ingredients together in a saucepan.

2. Add optional colouring.

3. Stir constantly until mixture is thick.

4. Store in an airtight container until you are ready to use the play dough.
